We offer a range of environmental courses and Masters by Research opportunities, designed to further your professional development portfolio. The Environmental Quality Management MSc and Environmental Protection BSC (Hons)/ PG Dip are aimed at professionals currently at work in the sector in order to further their skills and enhance their career opportunities through a flexible delivery method. The Masters by Research MA/MSc programmes allow you to pursue a research project in a specific area of interest.
Environmental Quality Management MSc/PG Dip/PG Cert
The course is designed to attract a range of students from diverse backgrounds, from those who have come straight from completing a BSc in an environmental area to mature students who have been at work in the sector for years.

Environmental Protection BSc (Hons)/ PG Dip
The course recognises the move towards an integrated approach to pollution control and acknowledges the links between pollution of air, water and land, and proposes that an integrated approach minimises the damage to the environment.
Environmental Protection is taught at two levels; undergraduate and postgraduate diploma, ensuring students can choose from the most appropriate route for Continuing their Professional Development. The course is taught through part-time distance learning with regular tutorial days, allowing access to professional training while in full-time employment.
We have taught the Environmental Protection Diploma since 1993 and upon successful completion of the course you will have the opportunity to transfer onto the MSc Environmental Quality Management.
This course provides you with the opportunity to pursue a research project in a specific area, enabling you to tailor it to your chosen interests and link directly to your current or future career path, as well as offering a 'taste' for what PhD study might entail.
The programme provides an understanding and appreciation of research study, as well as enhancing your skills for project-based work.
Interdisciplinary research themes are welcomed and facilitated, and you will be supported by two expert research supervisors who will meet with you to review your progress. Flexible study options allow you to manage your own progress, and study at times that suit you best.
