GIS
GIS systems are expanding in to government departments, environmental consultancies, retail and utility companies.
Our Postgraduate Certificate / Diploma in Applied Geographic Information Systems provides a valuable academic qualification as well as training in how to use GIS software.
The programme teaches students practical Visual Basic skills so that they can develop GIS solutions for a wide range of real world professional environments. All GIS software is provided.
Geochemistry
This programme provides a theoretical foundation to Geochemistry and its application. It is ideal for those who work in, or would like to work in, engineering, environmental consultancy, pollution control, local and regional government or in teaching and research.
As well as studying for an Advanced Diploma in Geochemistry students can also take the following individual modules as short courses:
