The purpose of this statement is to define how Environmental Data Services (ENDS) uses personal information that we may obtain as a result of you registering as a user of our products and services and by using ENDS’ web sites. It also offers us the opportunity to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your contact details.

How ENDS protects your privacy:
- When you use ENDS’ web sites you may be asked to provide your contact details, e.g. when you register for a free trial or when you order one of our publications online. We will store this data in order to fulfil your request and may use it to inform you by e-mail, telephone or mail about other ENDS’ products and services. We may also use this data for assessment and analysis to enable us to review, develop and improve the services we offer.
- ENDS will never share, sell or rent its contact data with third parties unless ordered by a court of law. However, we may occasionally send you information about a forthcoming environmental event that we consider may be of interest to you.

Why did you receive mail from us?
ENDS is an independent publisher offering high quality environmental information to subscribers, purchasers and users of its publications and services. Therefore we originally obtained your contact details in one of the following ways:
- You are a subscriber or have requested a free trial to our UK environmental journal The ENDS Report and/or our European environmental e-mail news service ENDS Europe DAILY and/or our monthly briefing on the European environmental agenda, ENDS Europe REPORT
- You have taken an entry or advertised your company or service in our ENDS Environmental Consultancy Directory.
- You have purchased our publication ENDS Environmental Consultancy Market Analysis.
- You have advertised a job vacancy or training course in the recruitment/training section of The ENDS Report and/or ENDS Environmental Jobs Search.
- Someone has sent us your e-mail address requesting that information about our publications and/or services be sent to you ("Recommend a colleague" facility).
- You or someone else has expressly shared your contact details with us for the purpose of receiving information now and in the future about our publications and/or services ("opt-in").
- We have previously met at an exhibition/seminar and your business card or contact details were handed to us.
- You have registered ("opt-in") or purchased from or otherwise have an existing relationship with a business partner, who thought you would benefit from information about our publications and/or services.
- We only purchase contact data from respected list brokers. All list owners must be registered with the Data Protection Registrar in order to pass data onto any third parties.
Our policy in this area complies with all known privacy laws and ENDS’ business ethics policy. We respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of our mailings regarding our publications and services.
Use of Cookies
