The main conference theme is: “Fisheries Management in Changing Times”

The first half day of the conference on the 9th of July will repeat the successful format of 2016, with presentations from, and dialogue with, all the research teams who have worked on FIS projects over the last two years. There will also be a report from the first of our International Study Bursaries, covering a mission to Denmark.

Day 2 of the conference on the 10th July will be opened by the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs, Food and the Environment and will feature presentations from the Scottish industry, Fisheries Ministers from other nearby fishing nations, and senior figures from the NGO, retail and marine sciences sectors.

The Conference Dinner will be held in the splendid Lower College Hall at St Andrews on the evening of the 9th of July.
